Rape accused arrested from Rupandehi

Police have arrested 35-year-old Jyamire Ali aka ‘Ajaya’ of Sammarimai Rural Municipality-5, Rupandehi, on February 15, on the charge of raping a 31-year-old woman. The victim had lodged a complaint at District Police Office, Rupandehi, on February 15, alleging that the accused had raped her on February 9. Health check-up of the victim was conducted at Bhim Hospital, Bhairahawa, on February 15.
