Police on February 16 arrested a 13-year-old boy on a charge of raping a 7-year-old girl on February 14.

The victim's side lodged a complaint against the accused at the District Police Office on February 15.

Inspector Doctor Prasad Chaudhary of the District Police Office, Myagdi said the accused was arrested on February 16 on the basis of a complaint lodged by the victim.

According to Prakash Subedi, Information Officer at Beni Hospital, the victim was examined at Beni Hospital on February 15.
