Executive members including the ward chairperson agitated against the corruption in the Jitpur Simara sub-metropolis of Bara accusing the mayor, deputy mayor and administrative chief of spending Rs. 60 million without any particular cause and lack of transparency.
They further allege that the information and advertisement were made in a non-transparent manner. They even warned to padlock the sub-metropolis if the expenditure details are not made public within seven days.
