The victim’s side lodged a complaint against the 32-year-old man at the District Police Office, Salyan on February 18, accusing him of raping a 15-year-old child on February 7. The accused is a relative of the victim.

A Health check-up of the victim was conducted at the Health Service Office, Salyan, on February 17. Inspector Laxman Oli of the District Police Office said a search upon the absconded accused is underway.
