Man accused of rape arrested in Tanahu

Police arrested 32-year-old Laxman Ranabhata of Rishing rural municipality on the charge of raping a 27-year-old woman. DSP Yuvraj Timilsina of District Police Office, Tanahu said the accused was arrested on February 21 after the victim filed a complaint accusing him of raping her on February 18.
The victim underwent a medical examination at Damauli Hospital on February 18. Police are further conducting investigations on the incident.
