Police charged batons to the protestors of the Badi community who are protesting against the government demanding their systematic settlement for a week now. After the government ignored their demands raised during the sit-in, they reached the chief minister's office chanting slogans but were charged with police batons.
They allege that some protestors were injured from the incident. Meanwhile, police claimed that they have not charged batons but only stopped them after they were trying to break the gate of the chief minister's office.
