Elderly man arrested on charge of raping a minor in Gorkha

Police arrested 87-year-old Kedar Prasad Devkota of Gandaki Rural Municipality-4, Gorkha, on the charge of raping a 13-year-old girl.
The victim’s side had lodged a complaint at District Police Office, Gorkha on February 28, alleging that the accused had raped the victim on February 27, when she was grazing goats.
Police are conducting a further investigation based on the complaint lodged. A Health check-up of the victim was conducted on February 28, at Gorkha Hospital.
