Police have arrested 40-year-old Hari Neupane, a resident of Khairhani Municipality-2, a teacher of Crystal College in Ratnanagar Municipality-10, on March 4, on the charge of sending abusive messages to students. According to the police they have arrested Neupane on the charge of sending threatening messages to 15-20 female students of grade 11 and 12.
The students had lodged a joint complaint at the Area Police Office, Ratnanagar on March 4.
Local youths had vandalized the college after the issue of violence against students by teachers came to light. According to Principal Hari GC, windows and other infrastructure of the college have been damaged due to vandalism.
