Employees of BPKIHS have been agitated over an agreement between the BPKHIS and Kathmandu University to give affiliation to B&C Medical College of Jhapa.

Last Wednesday, a letter of agreement was signed between Dr Gyanendra Giri, Vice-Chancellor of BPKIHS  and Dr Bhola Thapa, Vice-Chancellor of Kathmandu University, to give B and C hospital affiliation as a medical college.

Doctors of the Institute have started agitation against the working style of Vice-Chancellor Giri, saying that they kept the MoU secret.

Doctors and staffs have objected to the decision of the Institute to move affiliation from Kathmandu University to Dharan by amending its law.
