Police arrested 5 persons including one elderly person from Dadeldhura, on the charge of raping a 14-year-old child of Parashuram municipality. The arrested are identified as 70-year-old Pratap Bhattarai, 28-year-old Bahadur Pun Magar, 19-year-old Rajesh Thapa Magar, and 16-year-old Jagadish Thapa Magar of the same municipality.

According to police, the five accused were arrested on the basis of the complaint lodged by the victim's brother alleging that they repeatedly raped the victim for the past two months. Police are still searching for another absconded accused.
