Police have arrested 60-year-old Thyauke Damai of Tikapur Municipality-4, Kailali, on the charge of raping a 19-year-old girl and making her pregnant. Police Inspector Arun Bam of Area Police Office, Tikapur, said they have arrested the accused on a basis of a complaint lodged by the victim. According to Bam, the incident took place about five months ago but was recently made public. Police are investigating the accused by taking him into custody.
