A complaint was lodged by 32-year-old Rajiv Mahato, a teacher of National Primary School, Chandranagar Rural Municipality-3, Dhankaul, Sarlahi, stating that the principal of the school, Harinarayan Kushwaha, and four others assaulted him on March 16. The victim has lodged the complaint at District Administration Office and Education unit, Haripurwa, on March 17, demanding to take action against the accused.
Mahato alleges that the principal Harinarayan Kushwaha tried to sign him on a blank check to withdraw money from the account of the school in the name of releasing salary to the teachers. Mahato said they attacked him after he refused to sign the blank check.
According to Sangita Devi, a local, the victim has sustained injuries in various parts of his body and broken a finger of his left hand.
The victim has alleged that 28-years-old Ram Kewal Raya, 26-years-old Binod Raya, 35-years-old Jageshwor Mahato and 27-years-old Kishundev Kushwaha were called by the principal from outside to beat him. CDO Hemraj Tamang said the investigation is undergoing against the incident.
