Man commits suicide after attacking wife, daughter and neighbour

A man from Ilam Municipality-3, Puwamajhuwa, committed suicide by hanging himself after attacking his wife, daughter and a neighbour with Khukuri. 52-year-old Deuram Rai had attacked his 44-year-old wife Kamala Rai, 12-year-old daughter Pranisha Rai, and his 15-year-old neighbour Anup Rai, on Saturday at around 4 pm.
According to the Ward Chairperson Tirtha Gurung, the injured are undergoing treatment at B&C Hospital, Birtamode. Chairman Gurung said that the condition of the wife of the accused is critical.
