One hundred and fifty-two studyMBBS students who returned from China last year due to COVID-19 staged a sit-in at the Nepal Medical Council in Bansbari demanding the assurance of internship in Nepal as their internships have not been completed and there is no possibility of returning to China immediately.
The students further said that they could not get the license as they could not complete the internship and demanded the solution as per the provision in the internship guideline to complete the internship in the medical under the university of Nepal in compelling circumstances.
