Discrimination against a Dalit student in Siraha

A Dalit girl student of Siraha's Kalyanpur Municipality was barred from going on a picnic by a school teacher. Shrijana Mallik, daughter of Ram Chandra Mallik, who is studying in class 4 of Chikana, was deprived of going on a picnic for belonging to the Dom community; a Dalit community.
Sanjay Mahara, the coordinator of the United Dalit Marcha Kalyanpur, demanded the concerned body to take legal action after investigating the true facts.
