Municipality employees halt work after chairperson manhandled staff in Tanahun

Employees working in Bhanu Municipality have stopped all work from April 4 to protest against the mistreatment of 45-year-old Hom Bahadur Bhandari and 25-year-old Milan Ranamagar.
They accused a group led by Arjun Bahadur Khadka, Ward Chairman of Bhanu Municipality-2, of harassing the victims and called the police alleging them as thieves while they were taking some tables and chairs from the former office of the municipality to the new office of the municipality on April 2. Nepal Civil Servants Association Tanahu demanded to arrest the culprits involved in the incident and take legal action.
