Police arrested a 45-year-old man on April 6 on the charge of raping his 20-year-old daughter-in-law. The man allegedly raped his daughter-in-law on March 28, March 30, and April 2.

The victim lodged a complaint against the accused at the District Police Office on April 6.

According to DSP Gautam Mishra of the District Police Office, the accused has been arrested on the basis of a complaint lodged by the victim. The victim has been taken to Kalaiya Hospital for a medical check-up on April 6.
