Junior Officers stage demonstration against few provisions of Federal Civil Service Bil

Junior Officers staged a demonstration inside Singhadurbar, on April 14, against some provisions of the Federal Civil Service Bill. The officers gathered in front of the Ministry of Federal Affairs and General Administration and demonstrated with placards with demands to change the provision of filling up posts in the Gazetted Third Class (Officers).
They furrther demanded that 20 percent of the posts should be filled through internal competition and 30 percent through promotion. The Federal Civil Service Bill, which was tabled in the parliament, has a provision to fill 80 percent of open posts and 20 percent through promotion.
