30-year-old Jagat Bahadur Tajpuriya alias Mohandev of Balugaun, Gauriganj-5 committed suicide by hanging himself on April 5 after stabbing his 26-year-old wife Rajkumari Tajpuria with a sharp weapon over a domestic dispute.

According to police, Rajkumari has sustained serious injuries and is undergoing treatment at the Intensive Care Unit of Birat Nursing Home in Biratnagar. Meanwhile, Jagat Bahadur's body was sent for postmortem at night.
