Locals blocked Siddhicharan highway for indefinite period

Locals blocked the Katari-Ghurmi road section of the Siddhicharan highway for an indefinite period accusing the stakeholders of not showing interest in repairing and upgrading the first and old road connecting Upper Everest with the Terai. The struggle committee blocked the road at Betini Bazaar of Katari Municipality Ward No. 11, Udayapur. The vehicular movement from Mirchaiya to Ghurmi has been obstructed after the roadblock.
