Schools of Swargadwari municipality in Pyuthan have been closed for an indefinite period due to the increase in the second wave of coronavirus cases.
A meeting of the local Covid Crisis Management Center held on April 21 decided to stop the operation by allocating thematic areas for the prevention and control of corona infection. The schools will remain closed until further notice. Businesses and financial institutions will remain closed for a week and non-essential services in health institutions for two days on Thursday and Friday (April 9 and 10).
They decided on the restrictions after the PCR test of 11 out of 13 confirmed corona infections. At present, 36 active corona cases have been reported in the municipality. Two people have died at Swargadwari after being infected with corona recently.
