Although the number of corona infections is increasing day by day in Makwanpur, the corona isolation constructed in the men's hostel of the sports academy at Gauritar in Hetauda-6 is still closed. With the onset of the second wave of coronavirus, the number of infected people in Makwanpur has been increasing. In order to control and prevent corona infection, the District Administration Office, Makwanpur, has decided to close educational institutions, run business only for a certain period of time, stop assembly meetings, close picnics and even impose a system on vehicles.
However, the infected people added daily are forced to stay at home due to a lack of isolation centers. Bhola Chaulagain, co-focal person of Makwanpur district said that the operation of the isolation ward in Gauritar was delayed due to lack of management. He said that the Hetauda Sub-Metropolitan Municipality has decided to bring the 15-bed isolation ward in Gauritar into operation immediately.
