A week-long prohibitory order has been imposed in the Dang district. Chief District Officer Dirghanarayan Poudel informed that a prohibitory order has been issued in Dang district from 6 am on April 30 till May 8 due to the increasing number of corona infections and death rate in Dang. Non-essential services have been completely shut down during the period. Government offices and banks and financial institutions have also been closed in Dang.
According to the District Administration Office, shops will be open from 7 am to 8 am every day for buying and selling essential items. Work related to drinking water, milk, vegetables, fuel, medicine, electricity supply, telephone, garbage management and poultry seeds have been placed under essential services.
