A meeting of the Corona Crisis Management Committee in Dailekh held on May 2 decided to impose a week-long prohibition order, which will come into effect from May 4 till May 11.
The number of people coming to Dailekh from India has been rising in recent days, according to the administration. Due to a lack of compliance with health standards at the grassroots level, the administration took the decision to impose the order as the last resort to stop the corona pandemic from spreading further. Similarly, until May 2, 133 people in Dailekh were infected with Covid-19, with seven people dying as a result of corona infection.
