The District Security Committee on the basis of the recommendation of Corona Crisis Management Center on May 2 decided to impose prohibitory order in Kapilbastu for 10 days that will come to effect from May 4 to May 14 to break the chain of the second variant of coronavirus.
During this period, emergency services will not be disrupted, The time for shopping for food and other items will be from 9 am to 1 pm. However, private and public transport, assembly, conference, hotel, and restaurant will remain closed. As of May 2, 461 people were infected with Covid-19 while 47 deaths due to the infection in the district.
