A week-long prohibitory order imposed in Humla

The District COVID-19 Crisis Management Center, Humla, has decided to impose a prohibitory order in the district that will be effective from May 4  midnight to May 11 midnight.

The air transportation service will be closed and the main checkpoints in the southern part of the district, Kawadi, Balukuna and Chankheli, were also sealed. During the period, mobility from one municipality to another has been restricted. Of the 40 people who reached Humla via Nepalgunj on May 3 morning, 8 were tested COVID-19 positive.

The administration has requested people not to go out of the house except for urgent work during the time of prohibition. A meeting held at the district level on behalf of the local level, political parties, and other stakeholders has decided to give two days to the concerned rural municipalities to decided on a place for the cremation of Covid-19 infected dead bodies.
