A week-long prohibitory order is imposed in Taplejung from May 3 evening as the number of corona infections is increasing rapidly to control the infection and reduce the risk.
The district administration office has requested people not to go out of the house except for urgent work during the period of the prohibitory period, to follow the health safety standards prescribed by the government, and not to engage in crowded activities including gatherings, assemblies, banquets.
Similarly, government offices, banks, and financial institutions, insurance and cooperatives licensed by the National Bank have been requested to provide alternate services with the approval of the concerned higher level depending on the condition of their offices and employees and to suspend non-essential services for the time being.
