A meeting of the District Covid Crisis Management Center (DCCMC) in Dhabar has decided to seal Rukumkot for a week with effect from midnight on May 5 till midnight on May 12. According to the ward chairperson, Rukumkot has to be sealed as the people are negligent in following the health standards despite the increase in the number of corona infected in the district.
During the period, public transport is restricted in the district. Pharmacies will be open 24 hours a day, while food stores will be open for two hours in the evening and two hours in the morning. All other shops will remain closed. Similarly, the banking sectors can operate only on the designated dates. Other cooperatives and microfinance institutions will operate offices from 10 am to 1 pm.
Similarly, work will be done in the presence of one-fourth of the employees in the district government offices depending on the situation. Vehicles transporting construction materials can operate in the sealed area and construction of large projects will be continued. The administration office stated to take action against those who act against these decisions
