An unidentified group assaulted Pupendra Shahi, a health assistant of Bheri Hospital, Banke who is deployed to treat Corona infected in the hospital. According to the hospital,  the group assaulted Shahi alleging of not taking proper care of the patients being treated in the Covid ward.

Hospital President Pramod Dhital and Member Secretary Dr. Prakash Thapa have issued a statement demanding action against the culprit. The hospital has also appealed for security measures saying that the doctors involved in the treatment of complex cases are being mistreated under various pretexts.
