Locals of Dharan obstruct in funeral ceremony of COVID-19 death patient

The funeral of the COVID-19 death patient was obstructed by residents of Dharan Sub-Metropolitan-8, Sunsari. A 43-year-old man from Dharan ward no. 3 died on May 10 at the BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences' COVID hospital.
Two cremation sites in Dharan obstructed the body's cremation. After locals protested against cremation, the Jhingu Society in Dharan's Khatridhara crematorium and the Bouddha crematorium in Dharan-8 refused to grant permission. Later, the deceased's family cremated the body by taking it to Morang's Singhiya River.
