Pharmacists stage an hour sit-in wearing black bandages after the pharmacy of Bharatpur Government Hospital was operated against the rules and regulations issued by the government. They have demanded that the aforementioned policies, rules, and procedures regarding hospital pharmacy should be implemented. Their main demands to the administration to give the job of pharmacy to the pharmacist.
Although the government has asked the pharmacist to look after the pharmacy, pharmacists are dissatisfied with the fact that the pharmacy is now being handed over to an Assistant Health Worker. There are 23 pharmacists working in Bharatpur Hospital. The hospital is currently in dire need of medicines.
