Lal Bahadur Khatri, a 28-year-old ambulance driver of Nepal Red Cross Society Gulmi who was on duty at the time of the pandemic, was beaten by 30-year-old Sagar Bohora, of Dhagithum in Resunga Municipality-1 on May 25. Police intensified the search for the accused after his identification. The driver Khatri has sustained serious head injuries.
United Ambulance Drivers' Association, Gulmi, and the district branch of the Nepal Red Cross Society have strongly condemned the incident and demanded immediate action against those involved.
