Bharatpur locals vandalized trippers used for carrying riverine materials

Locals of Bharatpur Metropolitan-16  vandalized 15 trippers used for carrying riverine materials alleging the metropolis of exploiting the Narayani River in the name of raising revenue. They also burn tires to protest against the Bharatpur metroplis.

Locals were against the excavation of the Narayani River at Bharatpur-16, Gyaneshwor, which started on April 14. According to Rajan Adhikari, Chairman of Gyaneshwar Community Forest,  the locals showed their anger as the metropolitan office did not stop the exploitation of the river despite repeated requests.
