Police arrested 20-year-old Hanis Kumar Chaudhary of Itahari Sub-Metropolis-10 on May 30 on the charge of raping a 15-year-old girl. The victim's side had lodged a complaint at the Area Police Office, Itahari alleging that the accused had raped the girl on May 27 by luring her with false marriage promises.
