Health workers, led by the Nepal Medical Association (NMA), stage a protest in Biratnagar on June 2 against the assault of their colleague of Koshi hospital. They demanded a guarantee of safety for the frontline workers.
Aheb Ashok Rajbanshi, a senior health assistant at Koshi Hospital, was beaten by the police while returning home after completing his duty at the hospital on June 1. Rajbanshi said that the police had beaten him even when he showed the identity cards.
