Police arrested Sheshmani Poudel, a 36-year-old engineer working in Runtigadhi village of Rolpa district. on the charge of assaulting a teenager. The girl was under home isolation after testing positive for Covid-19 and was sexually abused while she was bathing in a public tap.

According to police, Engineer Poudel was arrested on June 4 on the basis of a written complaint lodged by the victim. Further investigation is underway into the incident.
