Police arrested nine people of the Nepal Student Union (NSU) including General Secretary of the Nepali Union Deepak Bhattarai, on the charge of protesting against the exploitation of the Chure. They were protesting in the capital's Gongabu against the government's decision to open mining through the budget for the coming fiscal year.
