Six NSU leaders arrested on charge of protesting against Chure's exploitation

Police arrested six leaders of the Nepal Students Union (NSU) from Sorakhutte, Kathmandu on the charge of protesting against the exploitation of Chure. They were protesting against the government's unconstitutional move, increased prices of petroleum products, and inflation.

The arrested are identified as Prashant Lamichhane, Sagar Babu Bhatt, Santosh Shrestha, Shaktiman Tamang, Sabin Bhandari, and Laxman Bhatt. General Secretary of the Nepali Union Deepak Bhattarai demanded immediate and unconditional release of the arrested leaders.
