A 19-year-old girl has been gang-raped in Bedkot municipality-5 in Kanchanpur district. The girl was gang-raped at the freed bonded labor camp in Dharampur on Thursday.

A preliminary investigation of the police has revealed that two boys gang-raped her by providing her drink laced with sedatives, said DSP Amar Thapa of District Police Office, Kanchanpur.

Meanwhile, police have arrested 22-year-old Dhan Bahadur BK for his alleged involvement in the crime while the suspect is at large, said Thapa. Police said they have launched a manhunt to nab the absconding culprit and are investigating the case. The rape victim is physically disabled.
