Alok Sah, a 16-year-old son of Shiv Narayan Sah of Kalaiya-1 was beaten by police on duty at Kalaiya Bazaar in Bara on June 11 for violating the prohibitory order. The teenager's left arm was injured in the beating. He had gone to the market to buy flour. After the injury, the police treated the teenager at Bara Nursing Home in Kalaiya and handed him over to his parents. After the incident, businessmen in Kalaiya Bazaar tried to attack the police. Police took the teenager to the hospital by mobilizing additional police.
