Police arrested 19-year-old Mahabir Prasad Yadav of Siraha Municipality-2, on June 11, on the charge of raping a 24-year-old woman. The victim had lodged a complaint at the District Police Office, Siraha on June 11 alleging that the accused had raped her on June 10.

The health examination of the victim has been conducted at the District Hospital, Siraha on June 11. According to police, the accused Yadav was arrested from his house. Police are conducting further investigation.
