Police have arrested 23-year-old Bishal Pariyar of Pokhara Metropolitan City-13 Kaseri on the charge of raping a 6-year-old girl on June 17.

According to DSP Subash Hamal of the District Police Office, Kaski, the victim had lodged a complaint against the accused at the District Police Office, Kaski on the same day.

He said that the accused was arrested on June 17 following a complaint from the victim's side

The victim underwent a medical examination at the Western Regional Hospital on June 17.
