Nepalgunj Chamber of Commerce and Industry staged a demonstration in Nepalgunj on June 22 demanding relief for the industrialists/businessmen affected by the prohibitory order.
Chairman of the association Abdul Wahid Mansuri said that the protest was staged demanding an extension of the deadline given by the government to file the tax till July 9 while the prohibitory order was in force. Secretary-General Chiranjeevi Wali said that a symbolic pressure program was held in front of the association's building with the demand of providing vaccination to the entrepreneurs, bank interest exemption through monetary policy, removal of the prohibitory order, and border management.
