Youths stage a demonstration against the widespread corruption in the 'Covid Special Hospital' started by the state government at Manipal Teaching Hospital in Janakpurdham. They also chanted slogans against Chief Minister Lal Babu Raut in front of the office of the Chief Minister and Council of Ministers in Janakpurdham on June 22 demanding to make the expenses transparent and make the admission process public. The local administration has designated a restricted area around the Madhes Bhawan area. However, the youths protested by evading the police.

The youths, led by Munjay Raut, affiliated with CPN-UML, have warned to agitate if the expenditure and recruitment process is not made public.
