Led by the Technical National Rights Protection Committee, the technical staff of the National Reconstruction Authority (NRA)  staged a demonstration at Maitighar Mandala in Kathmandu on June 25.

The engineers and sub-engineers deployed in the reconstruction are agitated saying that they will be fired from their jobs after July. Engineers have been protesting saying that they have been completely deprived of the additional facilities promised by the government every year. Earlier today, they had submitted their joint resignation at the Central Project Implementation Unit Office, Baber Mahal.
