Local youths of Mudkechula Rural Municipality in Dolpa have padlocked the office of the Rural Municipality putting forward various demands including the appointment of ward secretary in all wards amongst others. The youths have been agitated after the chief executive officer of the rural municipality Jit Bahadur Shrestha went to Kathmandu without informing the head of the rural municipality. The youths believe that matters of local governance at the rural municipality have been affected due to intervention and rivalry between political parties.
