Local youths of Gorkha have staged a symbolic protest against caste-based discrimination by tying black bands around their arms and forehead. United Aware Dalit Struggle Committee organized the protest on Sunday demanding punishment against those accused of caste-based discrimination and justice for the victim. Participants at the demonstration carried different placards demanding strict implementation of laws regarding caste-based discrimination.
