The ward committee of the Nepali Congress, under the leadership of Uparaj Adhikari, padlocked the ward office of Hima rural municipality-6 demanding transparency of the progress details of the schemes from the fiscal year 2017 to 2020/2021 by issuing a statement. The statement mentions the names of 26 schemes, big and small. The locals have demanded the ward office take immediate initiative in this regard. The lockdown has been carried out
Meanwhile, Bal Bahadur Rawat, ward chairman of Hima rural municipality said that the public hearing could not be held due to the Corona pandemic. He said that a public hearing will be held after the completion of some projects. He has requested to join hands for the development of the ward without protesting. He expressed his commitment to making public the progress details of the schemes in case of any situation.
