Teachers federation staged sit-in in Bhadrapur municipality demanding salary

The Bhadrapur Municipal Committee of the Nepal Teachers Federation (NTF) in Jhapa staged a sit-in at the Bhadrapur Municipal Office on June 28 saying that the salary facility prescribed by the federal government has not been released to the child class teachers and office assistants.
The federation has stated that a sit-in will be held at the municipal office for two / two hours daily from June 28 to July 2. However, the federation has warned that if the demand is not met, more agitation programs will be launched.
