Akhil (Revolutionary) Jajarkot, close to the Communist Party of Nepal (Biplav), staged a protest against caste discrimination and untouchability in Khalanga, the district headquarters, from Thaple to Thanti on June 28.
They chanted slogans like "Long live Communist Party of Nepal, let's establish a scientific socialist system, let's build an all-revolutionary revolution, let's build an ethnic-free society, let's end all forms of discrimination, let's abolish caste system, give justice to Rupa Sunar, dismiss Education Minister Krishna Gopal Shrestha, scientific socialism is alive".
